HomeRoad MapCaptain Bob, As of Friday morning, I am officially a Trainee Fire &Rescue Officer on the Dallas Fire Department. Your video, tapes, and personal coaching got my badge. I felt very comfortable sitting through my oral board because you guys provided the "roadmap" for me. I recommend your program to anyone preparing for the orals. Ron "Captain Bob's reply: Yes, we do have the road map. It's amazing how many candidates can easily get lost. You can get back on the right road quicker than you think. It got the Dallas candidate the 1838th badge in our program. Ladies and gentlemen meet badge number 1839. Captain Bob, I have asked you a half dozen questions on backgrounds and took your advice. I talked with you over the phone while requesting a copy of your audio and video tapes for oral board interviews. I then talked with your son Rob for approx 1 hour about 4 months ago because I was not messing around anymore, I was as serious as a Firefighter candidate could be aside from murder or breaking the law. I researched the heck out of the next interview I took and came out #1. We were all academy graduates and paramedics. I also took another interview up in San Carlos for South County Fire while I was in backgrounds and was offered a job there, but declined. Could you PLEASE tell Rob thank you for showing me how to bring out my best. I have been on board now for almost a month and have learned soooo much and cant wait until my probation is over so I can relax a bit more. Thank you also Captain Bob!
