Too many candidates take the bait of diverting all their resources to the downed firefighter. We all know there are few scenarios where we would not make this attempt. But, this is put into the exercise to confuse you. Too many drop the ball here and lose the fire in the process. There is one tool that can help you here. Triage. By assigning a crew to gain to triage the victims the best use of resources can be used to make an aggressive attack on the fire and complete the rescue.
